Irwell Riverside, Salford

The scheme is based in Salford and the north and east of the site is bounded by the River Irwell. In the late 19th century, it was used by a cotton mill, a bleach and die works and an iron works, with the southern portion housing a number of terraced houses and a brewery. The site changed used over the course of time, and then size, most notably with the River Irwell realignment in the 1980’s.

Urban Splash procured the site, and after a scheme of major site wide remediation, have commenced construction and delivery of 72, 2 and 3 storey houses on the site, all of which have private gardens and driveways.
